Milo Digital produced a social hub for users to submit entries, vote and review all social activity within a Facebook app.
Our infrastructure supported all the intricacies and interdependencies of the multi-phased rollout. This was due in large part to the simultaneous use of separate staging environments, which allowed us to stage changes while the live site was still in a prior phase. Such machinations created the ability to:
- Collect and process contestants’ applications
- Allow general users to vote on their Top 10 finalists
- Allow private administrators to monitor the contest and ultimately select its winners
Additionally, there was a need to upload, review, and update content – and to manage product placements. All this, plus voting and application processing, was done through a robust, custom-designed content management system.
